This is a 7 month FTC role with a start date of the 1st of April 2026

What you will be doing 

This is a FTC for period of 7 months and in that period you will play a pivotal role in turning complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements to support the successful delivery of Commercial Continuous Improvements as well as new propositional items across our 1st and 2nd charge lines. Items you will work on are varied from process and system enhancements to support operational effectiveness, to the introduction of completely new propositions currently in development.

You may come from a Business Analyst background or from another role with knowledge of 1st and or 2nds processes and operational systems e.g. DPR or Swan. You will have also demonstrated structured thinking, colleague engagement and the ability to turn ambiguity into clarity. Working closely with varied stakeholders and colleagues, you’ll turn complex business needs into actionable solutions, quickly get up to speed, and help drive clarity, consistency, and successful delivery across the Proposition & Delivery team.

With support and guidance from the Proposition Delivery team, responsibilities include the following:

  • Turning Commercial continuous improvement requests into wellformed user requirements to really understand the problem
  • Defining, capturing and translating business needs into business requirements to enable effective delivery
  • Ensuring stakeholders an colleagues fully understand and approve the defined requirements and there is full alignment across all functions
  • Completing impact assessments, documenting risks and maintaining governance documentation.
  • Conducting data analysis, business process analysis and process mapping.
  • Performing options analysis and recommending solutions that deliver value.
  • Building a deeper understanding of system behaviour to support analysis activities assigned
  • Collaborating with internal technical teams (BST + IT Scrum) to ensure requirements are clear and achievable
  • Producing release documentation to support successful role out  of enhancements to internal colleagues

What we are looking for

This role requires someone confident and motivated in a fastpaced environment, able to manage multiple priorities and turn complex information into clear, actionable outputs.

 

We are seeking either:

Experienced Business Analysts with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and facilitation abilities, highquality documentation experience, and a solid understanding of delivery methodologies.

OR

Individuals without a BA background – who are logical problemsolvers, quick learners, and comfortable working with varied stakeholders to bring clarity and drive outcomes. A solid understanding of 1st and/or 2nd charge systems (e.g., DPR or Swan) and operational processes is essential, along with a desire to learn quickly and apply new skills with team support.
