Make an impact on the colleague experience

We’re looking for an experienced Employee Experience Coordinator to join our HR team on a 12-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.

This is a great opportunity for someone who combines excellent coordination skills with a project management mindset and hands-on experience across employee engagement and Learning & Development.

You’ll be at the centre of our colleague experience activity, helping turn plans into action and ensuring programmes are well organised, engaging and delivered to a high standard. You’ll work across a varied portfolio covering learning, colleague listening, engagement, recognition, wellbeing and internal communications.

What you’ll be doing

No two weeks will look exactly the same. You’ll take responsibility for coordinating multiple activities and workstreams, keeping stakeholders connected and making sure actions, deadlines and dependencies don’t fall through the gaps.

You’ll:

  • Coordinate employee experience programmes and projects, keeping plans, timelines, actions and dependencies on track.
  • Support the delivery of employee engagement and listening activity, including surveys, recognition, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Coordinate Learning & Development activity, working with learning providers and internal stakeholders and managing bookings, learning systems, attendance, evaluations and learning records.
  • Help coordinate talent and development activity, including development plans, manager induction and learning plans.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to ensure programmes are communicated clearly and delivered effectively.
  • Coordinate internal communications and maintain relevant HR intranet, SharePoint and shared content.
  • Track activity, participation, feedback, actions and outcomes to help the team understand progress and identify where follow-up is needed.
  • Build effective relationships with external providers and suppliers supporting our engagement and learning activity.
  • Look for opportunities to improve how we coordinate programmes and create a positive, joined-up experience for colleagues.
  • The role also provides broader coordination and administrative support across the Employee Experience team, including reporting, supplier processes, programme documentation and shared mailboxes.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an experienced coordinator who knows how to make things happen.

You don’t necessarily need to have held a formal Project Manager title, but you should be comfortable applying the same disciplines: building plans, juggling priorities, managing stakeholders, tracking actions and risks, and seeing activity through from initial idea to delivery.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in an Employee Experience, HR, L&D, engagement, programme coordination or project coordination role.
  • Practical experience supporting employee engagement initiatives, such as colleague surveys, listening activity, wellbeing, inclusion or recognition programmes.
  • Experience coordinating Learning & Development programmes, including working with providers, organising learning activity and tracking participation and feedback.
  • Strong project and programme coordination skills, with the ability to manage several workstreams, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders at different levels and the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Strong communication skills and experience coordinating colleague or internal communications.
  • A proactive approach. You’ll spot what needs doing, take ownership and follow things through.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and collaborative tools such as SharePoint. Experience of SAP SuccessFactors would be an advantage.
  • Experience within HR and/or a regulated environment would be helpful, but isn’t essential.

What will make you successful

You’ll be someone who is naturally organised and enjoys bringing structure to busy programmes. You can see both the detail and the bigger picture, stay calm when priorities change, and aren’t afraid to chase an action or ask the right question when something risks slipping.

Above all, you’ll care about creating a great colleague experience and enjoy working collaboratively to turn ideas into well-executed, meaningful activity.

Why this role?

This is a varied role with the opportunity to get involved across the colleague experience agenda rather than focusing on just one specialism. You’ll work across engagement, L&D, listening, recognition, wellbeing and communications, giving you the opportunity to contribute to programmes that colleagues experience throughout their journey with the organisation.

Some of the benefits we provide are:

  • Competitive salaries and bonus schemes
  • Hybrid home and office working with flexible working arrangements
  • Opportunities to develop your career within the wider firm
  • 25 days’ holiday & bank holidays plus birthday off
  • Single Private Medical Insurance cover with BUPA
  • Personal pension scheme with generous matched company contributions

In return for your commitment, you’ll have the chance to develop your career in a dynamic environment, working alongside top talent and an exceptional leadership team. If you want to be involved in our exciting expansion plans and have the chance to really shape and influence the way the business grows, then we’d love to hear from you.

We also want our people to feel a sense of belonging at Pepper Money. We are committed to meeting our Diversity, Equality and Inclusion charter, further information can be found on the Careers section on our website.
