What you will be doing 

As our Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, governing, and optimising our technology landscape. You’ll lead the development of enterprise-wide architectural frameworks, drive responsible AI adoption, and ensure SaaS platforms are scalable, cost effective, and aligned with business strategy. Working closely with senior leaders and technical teams, you’ll provide strategic guidance, ensure compliance, and champion innovation across the organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the design, maintenance, and governance of the firm’s enterprise-wide technology, data and AI architecture.
  • Establish architectural principles, frameworks, and blueprints to guide decision making.
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate SaaS, cloud, and AI-based technologies.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing systems to ensure security, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
  • Govern technology lifecycles, including vendor management, contracts, and technology roadmaps with supplier managers.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and project teams to translate strategic needs into architectural solutions.
  • Lead architectural and AI-focused workshops and forums to promote alignment and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and enforce governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
  • Monitor and optimise SaaS and AI usage, spend, licensing, and ethical considerations.
  • Work closely with Finance and Procurement to identify cost efficiencies and manage contracts.
  • Champion innovation and lead pilot projects to assess emerging technologies.
  • Manage and develop a small high performing architecture team and a data engineering team.
  • Support compliance, ESG, DE&I and contribute to a strong organisational culture.

 

What we are looking for

We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect with strong strategic, technical, and leadership capability. You’ll bring deep knowledge of architecture frameworks, cloud and SaaS integration, and emerging technologies alongside the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide transformation.

 

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Strong expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-wide IT solutions in complex environments.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS, cloud (IaaS/PaaS), integration strategies, and AI driven technologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts.
  • Strong governance, risk management, and compliance awareness.
  • Strategic mindset with sound judgement and analytical capability.
  • Collaborative, innovative, resilient, and detail driven working style.
  • Degree in IT/Computer Science (or similar); EA certifications such as TOGAF/ArchiMate desirable.
