We operate a hybrid working model, so you will benefit from both home and office working, the office being based in central London.
What you will be doing
This role sits within heart of our Finance function, assisting the FP&A team with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for the business, monthly reporting and improving existing processes. This is a fast-paced role that requires a high degree of accuracy.
Supporting the FP&A team with producing robust monthly MI, explanation and analysis of month end results and driving process improvements, you will also liaise with other Finance teams and business areas to assist with any adhoc queries.
You will support the FP&A team in re-designing, building and automating management reports to aid decision making and assist with the presentation of financial results to senior management. This role will involve tracking financial performance vs budget and explaining key variances and areas of focus.
You will also support the team in leveraging and enhancing the financial planning tool (Vena) and reporting dashboard (PowerBI), along the month end reporting and forecasting / budgeting process.
What we are looking for
- You will ideally be a fully qualified accountant, however, this is not essential
- Experience in a similar role within the financial services sector
- An analytical thinker who possesses excellent attention to detail
- Somebody who is confident within all aspects of financial modelling and forecasting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of Vena or another planning tool would be advantageous
