The Head of Employee Experience will join a dedicated, enthusiastic and vibrant team of HR professionals working in a fast-paced environment in our London or Cardiff office. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic individual to really make a difference in this newly created role where you can shape the employee journey and experience at Pepper Money.

What you will be doing
As the Head of Employee Experience, you’ll lead the charge in creating a workplace where people feel connected, included, and empowered to thrive. This is a strategic and hands-on role that spans the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit and touches every part of the organisation.
You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering initiatives that enhance engagement, inclusion, wellbeing, learning, and internal communications. You’ll work closely with HR, Marketing, and business leaders to embed our values and culture into everyday experiences, ensuring our people feel heard, supported, and inspired.
Your work will include:

Developing and implementing a company-wide internal communications, culture, and engagement framework

Championing “The Pepper Way” and embedding our values into everyday life at Pepper

Leading initiatives that promote inclusion, belonging, and wellbeing, in partnership with employee-led networks

Shaping and delivering learning and development strategies that build capability and support career growth

Overseeing internal communications, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with our brand and values

Using data and feedback loops to continuously improve the employee experience

Managing a small team and collaborating across global offices to build a cohesive and high-performing culture

Supporting the development of our external employer brand through platforms like LinkedIn and Glassdoor
This is a role for someone who can think big, act fast, and bring people together to make meaningful change happen.

You’ll be a strategic thinker who is pragmatic, hands on, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll bring a strong HR mindset and a passion for creating meaningful employee experiences.
You’ll ideally have:

A background working within a HR team

A track record of designing and delivering impactful people strategies and initiatives

Experience advising senior leaders and influencing stakeholders at all levels

Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to align internal messaging with company values

Experience working in organisations with dispersed or hybrid teams

A proactive, curious, and adaptable mindset, someone who spots opportunities and makes things happen.
