What you will be doing   

As a Senior Sales Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading and developing a team of managers within Sales Operations. You’ll act as a senior leader and location champion, driving operational excellence, fostering collaboration, and ensuring a customer-first approach. This role demands a visible presence in the office, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to unite teams around shared goals. 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Leading a multi-disciplinary team to consistently achieve and exceed SLAs and KPIs. 
  • Acting as a senior leader and role model, driving engagement and maintaining high morale across locations. 
  • Championing a “one team” ethos by collaborating with other senior leaders to deliver strategic objectives. 
  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a high-performing team. 
  • Building strong relationships across departments to align with the firm’s strategy and resolve issues swiftly. 
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, efficiency, and customer experience. 
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining robust risk controls. 
  • Promoting a culture of customer-centricity and delivering exceptional service outcomes.

You will bring: 

  • Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing senior stakeholders. 

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. 

  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities. 

  • A track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. 

  • Knowledge of mortgage lending and completions (specialist lending experience is advantageous). 

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (FCA, TCF, Consumer Duty). 

  • A collaborative, adaptable approach with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical skills.
